Today's Theme: Do's and Don'ts of Video Game Weddings

Some of you may be thinking to yourselves "how can there be do's for video games?" and others may be thinking "how can you ever go wrong with a video game theme?" The point of this blog is not to critique the personality of the bride and groom, but rather, the execution.

Do:

This is a great example of how something fun like video games can still be classy in a wedding. They used a great baker to make a distinguishable cake with a cute Princess and Mario layout, and even personalized tables to the guests.

I think the ice luge is the best part.

Don't:

...make your theme so indistinguishable, no one has any idea what is going on.

This is supposedly a Legend of Zelda Themed Cake.

Do you see it?

No?

Look harder. It is that little tiny triforce in the center.

Yup.

I found a picture of the wedding party as well, but decided it would just be straight out mean at that point. But I'll describe it.

The groom wore a green and black tux with a top hat that made him look more like a leprechaun than "Link". And though I must admit the bride did naturally look a little like Zelda, her dress was a miss as well, but she did not end up looking like any mythical creatures.

Welcome to weird, weird weddings!

Come here to see the weird, wonderful world of personalized weddings. Some personalized weddings show the creativity and individualism of the couple. Others make small children (and grownups) cry. Still others just plain puzzle me.

Feel free to contribute your own craziness. Back stories encouraged!
